| The mission of the Texas Council
on Economics Education is to help all students develop economic ways
of thinking and problem solving they can use in their lives as consumers,
savers, investors, members of the workforce, responsible citizens,
and effective participants in the global economy. |

| The focus of the Texas Council
on Economic is a program designed to assist Texas teachers integrate
economics and personal finance into their existing curriculum. This
is accomplished through a comprehensive teacher-training and professional
development program that utilizes appropriate materials for all grades
K-12. |
